Soo EXCITED..

... to have finally pulled the trigger and have my picks (myself included) photographed!!!  This past July, my friend and photographer Cristi (http://cristinamoscoso.com/) helped capture the picture in my head and was able to make it happen (all in my backyard;).  I am so happy how it turned out!  Check it out for yourself. 

 

Though this will be the last time I take pictures in July. ;)

Piano Stool Makeover--Furry Addition

Remember this post a little while back? Well below are the results!  To be honest, I was a little worried after I covered that pretty blue, straw seat that I loved, especially after seeing how thick that fabric is.  Now that it's covered in that super soft/fluffy sheep fur and after walking past it every day, I love it!  This stool would look cute in someone's walk in closet/ by their vanity. Or in a little girls room to add a little glam.  

I'll let you guys be the judge.  

Can't wait to send her to a new home! ;)

Picked: Creepy/Cool Edition

This past weekend I got to go exploring with my parents who were in town to help me find a new store space.  While we were scouting, we couldn't help but do a little shopping.  Some of the items  picked up are going on my Etsy page when I finish putting it together.  You will notice  a creepy (I say cool;) theme.    

Is it me, or does the above photo look a little like a new little Royal? ;)

Now all I need to do is finish my Etsy shop and add my new picks!

To Do or Not To Do:Fur Stool Edition

Remember this super cute/chic/amazing piano stool?  Well a while back I picked up some pretty sage green burlap fabric to cover the top and then add some nail-head detail.  Its cute, but doesn't give me that EXCITED feeling inside.  If you forgot what the stool looked like, there you go: 

So lately, all over Pinterest has been images like these below and it has got me thinking...

What about covering it in fur?!?!  There is one problem though..it will make me want to keep the cute/chic/amazing stool forever. and ever.

Picked: Peach Baskets

While shopping in Monroe, Georgia, I fell in love with these peach baskets.  Maybe it's because I live in the peach state or the fact that you can tell these baskets have a story.  Of course I came home and searched pinterest, and oh so many ideas that these pretty baskets can be used for!

Bedroom Reveal

Remember this bedroom mood board? 

 When Josh and I moved into our rental a year(!!) ago, I knew I wanted a room that was warm, cozy and romantic. Its hard to design a room when there is a boy involved who has an opinion, so I had to keep his taste in mind (lucky its pretty good;)

In the VERY left corner, is the lingerie chest which I have had forever, well actually my mom has. I 'borrowed/stole' it from her back in high school, but I love it to much to give back. Many of the accessories were found from garage sales/antique stores; antlers(not shown), coyote skull, clock and hat holder to name a few.      

Love the way the bedroom turned out. I think Josh does too, besides his comment about hanging the artwork on the dresser and that we have too many pillows. My question is, how can someone have TOO many pillows? ;)
