Tosses Out Treasures

When I was driving to work Friday morning, I was listening to the radio when they were talking about this flea market going on this upcoming Friday and Saturday.  "Tossed Out Treasures" is a community sale put on by the Sandy Springs Society and free to the public.  I was interested but even more when the radio djs mentioned that it was the 23rd time the society put on the event.  Josh and I went Saturday morning and I was way too excited.  The flea market was held at an old car dealership and mostly inside which was great, because the weather was terrible.  Once inside, the flea market was split up by department.  When you first walk in it was furniture, but they also had kitchenware, Holiday, clothing, kids, fine china, and art work, just to name a few.  The pictures below are some of the items I picked up while there.  It was a good time, but there were definitely a lot of people! The items I snitched up were, 4 purses, 3 canes, 1 coffee table, 1 side table, 2 ice buckets, and 1 pitcher with stirrer.

Henredson side table. I fell in love with the drawer!

Brass Coffee table, it has a glass top but I did not want to have to carry it outside.  Very heavy!

Josh picked out the San Francisco bag in the very back.

For these three items it was less than $10!

Heres a link to the "Tossed out Treasures" site. In the end, I was just glad we all of this in my little car!  :)

I'm not sure what it is about pillows, but I love them! Probably because I have a certain place in my heart for things that are soft and cozy (hence why I love cashmere sweaters and cats;) Here are just a few pillows I have my eyes on!  Check out my inspiration for my bedroom here.

Officially Official

After months of trying to figure out what PYP business cards should look like (and hearing Josh always say "You are STILL working on those!?"), I finally have my business cards done and printed.  Well almost done.  I purposely bought the thicker cards to add some metallic gold to the edges, which I will have to do in the future, inspiration shown here.  The edges will either be spray painted or painted on with a gold paint pen.  What do you think?
